Dr. Ebone Smith-Lenhardt, Psy.D.
Dr. Ebone Smith-Lenhardt is the founder and CEO of WE ARE R.I.S.E. Inc. and Executive Director of WE ARE R.I.S.E. Inc. Girls Mentorship program in South Los Angeles. Through WE ARE R.I.S.E. Inc., Dr. Ebone trains mentors, organizes programming, and facilitates culturally informed workshops that focus on the enrichment of social-emotional development and life skills.
As a native of Memphis, Tennessee, Dr. Ebone was raised primarily on family values and the importance of maintaining healthy relationships. Seeing the significance and heavy influence of family and relationships, Ebone pursued her bachelor's in Psychology and later pursued her master's in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis on Marriage and Family Therapy.
Ebone has a Psy.D. in Applied Clinical Psychology with the plans of becoming a Licensed Clinical Psychologist. Throughout her career, she plans to continue to work with youth and families of color on setting foundations for cultivating and maintaining positive relationships with themselves and others around them.
