Miriam Camara

Miriam Martine "Mimi" Camara, Esq. is the founder and managing attorney of Camara Law Group PLLC, an entertainment law practice representing artists, content creators, music producers, and faith-based organizations across the media and entertainment industries. Her practice focuses on music publishing, digital media transactions, IP protection, and fractional general counsel services. She also operates The Richmond Flo, a production consulting company.

A lifelong advocate for the empowerment of young girls, Mimi has dedicated herself to mentorship since her undergraduate years at Princeton and continued throughout law school at Fordham, serving as a mentor and resource for young women navigating academic, personal, and professional challenges. Joining We Rise Inc. as a Director is a natural extension of that commitment, an opportunity to bring her legal expertise, strategic thinking, and deeply personal investment in girls' advocacy to an organization whose mission she believes in wholeheartedly.

A native of Staten Island, New York, Mimi is of Haitian and Guinean heritage and a dedicated single mother. She earned her A.B. in Politics with certificates in French and African American Studies from Princeton University, and her Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law, where she concentrated in real and intellectual property law. She resides in Los Angeles with her daughter.
