Dr. Tanisha Robinson is a Marriage and Family Therapist with a doctorate in Social Work. She has worked in the mental health field for about ten years. Throughout her career, she has enjoyed working with a diverse population, including adults with substance abuse issues, victims of abuse, various students, children in group homes, and chronically ill patients and their families. Dr. Robinson has held positions such as Clinical Director, Chief Operating Officer, and Program Director, where she has assisted in developing and expanding program curriculum and teaching at the master’s level. She has a passion for presenting and training.
Dr. Robinson’s passion has always been to help improve the lives of individuals and families, with a particular focus on the healthy emotional development and well-being of women, children, and families. She has developed a Cultural Humility Training for Medical Professionals, specifically aimed at serving African American women with lupus. She has participated in several general panels on mental health and well-being and has delivered presentations on cultural humility, psychosocial interventions that improve health outcomes, and thriving in marriage.
