Whitney Cooper

Whitney Cooper was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, where she inaugurated her passion for sports through basketball and cheerleading. Her determination and skillset furthered her devotion to developing transcending character traits that fueled her success in basketball. During her childhood, she played Amateur Athletic Union basketball (AAU) and continued throughout high school and college. Whitney took her passion for basketball and people to Missouri, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Social Work, with emphasis in child welfare at Lincoln University.

Through her ravishing work ethic, Whitney became an experienced Behavioral Interventionist, Basketball Coach, and Intervention Specialist. In all her endeavors, she emphasizes the importance of character building, time management, teamwork, and efficiency. Whitney takes pride in providing effective practices for child development. She has coached for two years at View Park Preparatory K-8 School and holds the title for the 2020 Division 2 Westside League Champions, where her fifth and sixth grade girls basketball team went undefeated. As she continues to aim for positive change within the community, Whitney is devoted to “building people first and players second.”
